Santa Barbara, Concert and a Wedding

What an awesome time in Santa Barbara! The weather was sunny and warm.

We arrived at our cute B & B.





just in time to relax a little and have a snack before we headed out for the concert.








We had dinner where the concert was being held. Not super impressed by the main course but, our dessert was fab!



Then it was time for music!














So Awesome. I love this girl band. The music is intense, passionate and full of love.

We talk to Rene, the band member we had met in Laguna Beach. She remembered us and was genuinely happy we came. She graciously took a picture with us:)



The next morning we had a nice homemade breakfast at the B & B, carrot pancakes...Yum! The coffee, not so yum and MaMa needs her coffee in the morning.
The solution... Starbucks!

We had the privilege of running into one of the band members in Starbucks. We chatted for a few minutes and then we had to leave town. WAH!

After 6 looonnnggg hours in the car (traffic was horrid!) we picked up our boys for some pizza and fun. Lil dude scored a lot of tickets in the arcade and came away with some fun stuff.

Saturday evening, one of the nurse I work with got married. I was honored to be invited and excited as this was my first *social* outing with Mr. J!

The rest of the evening, I danced with my Mister ( that's MISTER, not SISTER) and had a most wonderful time.

Good thing, because now it's back to work and a busy, busy schedule, with one exception.... Vegas! Unfortunately, my time is greatly shorten there due to the shortage at work. But, I plan to make soem fabulous memories;)

Vegas Breakfast Finale

Time sure flies when you are having fun. This trip was FABULOUS! The conference was great and the time I spent with my Mister made me love him so much more. I have a deep respect for this man and what he is enduring. i believe we became closer than close on this trip. Long, long talks and awesome....you know. I won't make ya jealous Jules;)

And speaking of Jules, I would just like to say a public blog THANK YOU to a woman I have only virtually met but love. How is that possible, I don't know. If you would have told me a year ago I would feel close to someone I've never actually met, I'd think you were crazy. But then again, I'm crazy;) Anyway, Loves my Jules and she knows why. The end!

My Mister and me met up with the Fam for breakfast.













Sad to part ways. I find the older I get, the more I want my family around. Especially true since Mom passed almost 5 years ago. We are much closer since then.

Tons of traffic on the way home stirred up my negative nellie. My mister is a positive dude so he is quick to snap me out.

More Vegas fun

Saturday after class, my big bro G came to town with his wife and daughter. My sis was also there with her hubby.

We met at the Venetian and ate the Grand Lux cafe. Good food with great company. I haven't seen my big bro G. in 6 months and my Sis in 5 months so it was a great night!

We were going to walk the strip but Crazy girl has a broken foot and my Sis was too tired so we all called it a night.

Well, sort of. I took my Mister to the black jack table and he won $200.00.

Vegas Fun, oh Yes!!

I played hooky today. I woke up with a sinus headache. I think it is all the casino smoke.

Slept in with my man. I needed that.

We went to see Zumanity last night. What a kick. The sexy cirque du soleil show is fantastic and well....full of sex. What they make some of the audience do is so amusing. We had a great time.









After the show, Mr.J tried his luck at the black jack table. We have a deal that if he wins big, I get my boob:) I was hoping I would bring him luck.

No such luck:) I don't gamble much. I could never bring myself to dump loads of money in a machine. If I have that kind of money I would rather buy an expensive purse, shoes or clothes.

We headed to the 64th floor to a club with amazing views of the strip.





We didn't stay long. We were both hungry so we headed to a cafe for a light bite.

Missing Travel girl

I've been missing from the blog world. Just too much going on right now to find the time to blog.

I'm in Vegas for a class. I will be blogging some of my trip, promise.

Coming Attraction: Vegas blog!

OK. I got a new camera in preparation of my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Awesome camera. Takes excellent, clear, vibrant pictures. One small problem though.

My adapter to download the pictures is not compatible with the disk. F!!

I'll pick one up at Target tonight.

Vegas bound.

I'm leaving for Vegas early tomorrow morning for two days of fun and relaxation.
