Virtual shopping

I have always loved to shop. I love to shop for just about anything. My fav though is clothes, shoes, handbags and make-up.

Since I'm a Sex and the City junkie, my fashion knowledge has increased. I buy InStyle regularly and I'm glued to project runway. I also cruise the Internet and drool over fashion.

I'm so loving these items this week.

Busy blunder

It's amazing how little time I have now that I'm dating Mr. J.
He has thrown my blogging hours into minutes:)

Besides my Mister, I started running again which has kicked my ass! Since my sleep time has decreased due to my late night dating and now running, I have been eating my breakfast in the car. This morning, I forgot something in the house, so I sat my cell phone on the center console of my car and ran in the house.

I was enjoying my music, my muffin and was about to drink some soy milk and notice a silver object in my soy milk. WTF!! I admit, it took me about 10 seconds to realize it was my fucking cell phone!!

It's history. My cell phone is on it's way to cell phone heaven.

I'm even more screwed because I don't know most peoples phone numbers. I have them programed in my phone so I never bothered to memorize them. Double F!

So, before I see my Mister, I have to get a new cell phone. UGH, it will probably cost a fortune as I'm not due for up grade.

Grand dog Mack

Here's my new bundle of slobber, my grand dog Mack. He is so cute and playful.
No grand babies in my future for a while.

Viva Las Vegas

Finally, my Las Vegas recap.

The trip started with the fountain show in front of the Bellagio. For those of you who have not seen this show it is acompanied with music. The song this day was "This Kiss." not one of my favorite songs with this water show.





I've seen this water show like a hundred times. Still watch it.

Later that evening, we stopped to have a drink at Parasol in the Wynn hotel. Nice bar on the patio. I had a carnberry mojito and watched the light show.





Dinner at MGM Grand at Diegos.

The chips came with three different salsas. The one on the left was. so. damn. good!!



Entree of Cesaer salad and seafood pot. The seafood pot was pretty spicy but the fish was so fresh.




After dinner, we walked around to take in the sites.



And spotted a woman my age who looked waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy older in something even a woman half her age shouldn't wear.




Gives us cougers a bad name;)

The next day we did some shopping. Vegas has some serious shops that I only drool to shop.



And then it was Saturday night. The night for LOVE!


No photography is allowed but I manage to take a few of stage before and after.





And some in the lobby. This was not prohibited though.



Very good show but a little pricey!

The next day I had breakfast with babygirl1 and hubby at Has House a go go where the food is more that plentyful, the service impecable and the company fabulous!








Babygirl1 and hubby adopted a puppy so I have a grandpuppy:) Pictures later.
We said out goodbyes but not without a picture.

I still have not bought an adapter for my new camera so my Vegas post is still on hold.

Hanging out with my Mister a lot lately. Enjoying him. A LOT.

We have some pretty intense conversations and one recently was about being alone. Although this was not always the case for me, I like being alone.

He subscribes to an email called the DailyOM. Interestingly, the day after our long, deep convo about *being alone*, the DailyOM sent him this e-mail:

When Isolation Is Ok
We all need time alone. Even those of us who are social butterflies need some time to ourselves. Solitude is necessary for meditation and quiet reflection. We also may choose to isolate ourselves when we are busy and need to meet a deadline. We may cherish time alone when we want to give ourselves over to art or music, lose ourselves in a good book, or delve into a personal project. Having time to ourselves allows us to focus completely on our yoga practice or get into the zone while running or strength training. Sometimes we need to be alone to simply do nothing but enjoy the sound of silence. Our alone time revitalizes and replenishes us, grounding us in our own company.

Yet, too much isolation, especially when our intention is to hide, withdraw, or not deal with the realities of our lives is not physically, mentally, or spiritually healthy. It is during moments like these when being in isolation takes us away from our lives, rather than enhancing it. If anything, too much isolation can create a buffer whereby we don’t have to deal with our problems. Sometimes, pushing ourselves to deal with our issues and be in our lives, rather than isolate, is one of the best gifts we can give to ourselves.

Also, just as it is important for us to have our "alone" time, we need to remember that as human beings, we are by nature social creatures that thrive on human contact. Our lives cannot occur in a vacuum, and we cannot fully live in this world without interacting with others. Consider using isolation as time spent for rest, reinvigoration, and personal growth. Isolation can then not only empower you, but it can allow you to return to your work and your relationships restored and ready for life.


Love it! After being *alone* for 3 years, I am comfortable in my own skin. I completely enjoy my own company and don't feel at all lonely during this time.

Mr. J, on the other hand, doesn't like to be alone. I'm not sure if it's because he is going through a tough time now or is this his make up. Statistically, after a break-up, men are back in a relationship in 1-3 years. Women, 3-6 years.

Interesting.

Coming Attraction: Vegas blog!

OK. I got a new camera in preparation of my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Awesome camera. Takes excellent, clear, vibrant pictures. One small problem though.

My adapter to download the pictures is not compatible with the disk. F!!

I'll pick one up at Target tonight.

Vegas bound.

I'm leaving for Vegas early tomorrow morning for two days of fun and relaxation.
